The cross-linked cable slicer is driven by a motor to advance the lead screw, which drives the tool holder to move back and forth. The tool holder is equipped with a specially designed blade, and the thickness of the cut specimen is determined by adjusting the relative position between the blade and the tool holder. The equipment adopts hardened high-precision double guide rods and precision transmission square screw rods to ensure smooth operation. In addition, the device also has cross cutting and medium breaking functions, and can be optionally equipped with round cutting function to meet different testing needs. ‌

The cross-linked cable slicer is suitable for sampling the mechanical and physical properties of cross-linked polyethylene cables of 35KV and below. Its characteristic is to replace the traditional rotary slicing with a translational slicing, and complete the thermal extension test and tensile test of the sample to meet the standard requirements of the product, avoiding the uneven wheels caused by the rotary slicing on the surface of the test piece, greatly improving the reliability of the test results and reducing the dispersion of the test results.
