(1) before measurement, the power of the equipment under test must be cut off, and the ground short circuit discharge, never allow the equipment to live measurement, in order to ensure the safety of people and equipment.

(2) for equipment that may sense high voltage, the possibility must be eliminated before measurement.

(3) the measured surface should be clean to reduce contact resistance and ensure the accuracy of the measurement results.

(4) check whether the megohm meter is in normal working state before measurement, mainly checking its "0" and "infinity". That is, shake the handle to make the motor reach the rated speed. The megohm meter should refer to the "0" position in case of short circuit and the "infinity" position in case of open circuit.

(5) the insulation resistance measuring instrument from Insulation Resistance Tester Supplier should be placed in a stable and firm place, away from large external current conductors and external magnetic field.
